If I win the lottery do I have to share it w/ my husband’s family?

If I win the lottery can my husband tell me to give a portion of it to his family and if I dont can he sue me? I hate his family and they are always asking for money. His mom always says if she wins the lottery she will split it with her kids, but that does not include me, so if I win Im sure my husband would want me to give some to his mom, but there is no way in hell I would. Could he sue me???This is hypothetical of course cause I know I would never win the lottery.

He can’t control what you do with your money. However he maybe able to get a share of it and do what he wants. Check your state when you win for the laws.
