USA Green Card Visa – Make The Dream Of Living In America A Reality

If you are an immigrant and you have been dreaming of going to America in order to experience the good life then a  USA Green Card Visa is your access to the country. The Green Card is offered by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and as an applicant you need to follow certain requirements in order for you to enroll to get a USA Green Card Visa. Once these requirements are met you can enroll in the Green Card Lottery which is set up by the Diversity Visa Program or DV.

The problem is that not everyone can apply for a USA Green Card Visa. The government publishes a list each year listing the countries that will be eligible for applying for permanent residence in the United States.

This list changes each year because the government will only allow countries with a low level of immigrants to the United States Of America within a five year period. So if a country has a level lower than 50,000 in a period of time of five years then people from that country will be eligible for applying for a USA Green Card Visa. If you or your spouse are not native to any country that is eligible for enrolling in the Green Card Lottery you may still be able to enroll if either of your parents are native to a listed country.

If you are eligible for enrolling to get a USA Green Card Visa there are other requirements that need to be fulfilled to go ahead with your Green Card Lottery submission. The requirements relate to your level of education or work experience. You must have a high school diploma and it must be one that the United States recognizes. Or you will need to show that you have been involved in work experience for the past two years. There are additional requirements to be eligible through work experience.

If all these requirements are met and you enroll in the USA Green Card Visa Lottery and receive your permanent residence you will be able to live and work in the United States. This also grants you the right to bring your spouse over to the United States as well as any unmarried children you have under the age of 21.

The procedure of applying for a USA Green Card Visa can be confusing and difficult for some applicants. Help is available from various organizations to assist in helping applicants in applying for a Green Card. Although they cannot actually get you a USA Green Card any quicker, they do help in making sure that you are in the best possible position to get your application accepted.

Approved I-824 But Refusal Of Processing By The Us Embassy In My Country

——————————————————————————–

Hello pple,

Am new to this forum but find it quite helpful. Could any person advise me on what to do pls?

My hubby and I got married May 2005, he became an LPR August 2005 through the Visa Lottery, but I couldnt go with him then for reasons beyond our control.

In May 2006, he filed I-824 for me and that was approved August 2006, however on getting to the US embassy in my home country they refused to process it saying that his visa lottery year had ended. This clause is however not added as part of the conditions for “following-to-join” on the USCIS website.

We have since filed for I-130, but cant help thinking there might be a way round this refusal.

what you have filed is an application for action on an approved notice, basically a copy of the approved petition. I think perhaps you filed the wrong thing, as he should have filed an I 130 for you based on his residency status. Perhaps you can contact the embassy though and find out about an application for a visa to join your spouse called a visa K. Call immigration here in the US and see what is the best course of action for you, they won’t mislead you.
