Does this sound like a scam? Please Answer!!?

Ok, so my friend told me today that there was a spanish quiz online (probley as an advertisment) so she thought what the hell, its only a bit of fun. Without her knowing they entered her into a “draw” she got a phone call saying her number had been chosen, and for 8 euros 50 per week, she will get 100 euro lottery tickets (worth 2 euros each) for so many months – i can’t remember.
She hasn’t said yes or no yet but she is considering it, i said…”well aslong as they don’t take card details…” well obviously yes they do, they will take direct debit details.
Do you think its a scam and i should go tell her now NOT to do it?

You’ve answered your own question. No one can possibly “win” a competition they didn’t enter in the first place. Of course it’s a scam. Avoid!
