Passion, Purpose, problems, people – from a part-time business

With the current recession and the breakdown of business as usual self-employment, home businesses and entrepreneurship are becoming an economic trend. This trend is not new, but has accelerated in recent years, statistics now show that 61% of all Americans want to start their own business (Parkinomics, 2010).

If you are In 61%, how to transition from employee to being your own boss? Websites, books, electronic books, journals and may be useful or that can make it absolutely confused. Is it as simple as finding your purpose and the money will follow? Do you really need to talk to your lawyer, accountant, SCORE volunteers and then develop a business plan, decide on the legal form your business will take, and choose a domain name before you start?

NO is so simple how to find your passion and money will follow, but with the Internet, companies are easier to start than ever. Of course, if you are buying a business or a franchise, then your lawyer and accountant should definitely participate!

"Companies are easier start than ever! "What if you want your own business but do not know what you do or where to start? Begin considering FIVE Ps: passion, purpose, problems, people, and part of time. For many people the passion Purpose and go hand in hand. Although different issues, the problems are resolved and target people who are related. Your business is YOUR business and it is your choice as to whether to exercise full or partial timebasis. If you are just starting, there is good reason to start part time.

Passion: Yes, you have to discover their passions or the passions. If you feel you have no passion or that word seems too strong, bringing their interests, skills, abilities or talents? If you won a lottery that you pay for life with a stipulation that only had to "work" something until at least 65 years, what would you do? Dream a little – If you had your own business what would you be doing? If you can not imagine what it would doing, ask yourself – I'll work by myself or with others? Where do I go to work – from home? In an office? In a scenario? Did I write, speak, painting, walking dogs, flower arrangements, design of solar homes? Start dreaming and brainstorming. Do not worry however, as to how this passion is earning. Find out how to monetize your passion is a later step.

Purpose. Do you feel that you have a mission in life? A call? A purpose? Some professional trainers and advisers believe that having a purpose is essential, but may only discover a purpose after one has had some life experiences. At this point, maybe you just want to make money, and there are lots of young rich Internet marketers who know that not want to work 40 hours per week. Knowing your purpose can make it easier to discover his passion. Purpose is related to the effect that his life is fulfilling and abundant, but a bank may be well on three legs or four legs. You can start a business without knowing its purpose or mission in life.

Problem: Companies exist because they solve problems. Fixing cars, computers, plumbing … providing food, toys and electronic products from other parts of the world helping people … to cure disease, find jobs, train your dog … Business Success continue to exist because they solve the problems better than others. These businesses or people make promises and then deliver more. The solutions offered are larger the promise that they offer to customers repeatedly return. What problem or problems to be solved? What can you offer that nobody else is offering? Try to dream or exchange of ideas or look around your community and to see if there is a problem that no one is trying to solve. Do you have the passion or experience to solve it?

People: Who, what niche market, it has problems to be solved? Do a common interest or such a need, because they need to lose weight or are technophobic? Are members of a particular demographic group – working parents, baby boomers, etc. How to market to this target group? An important aspect to benefit from a passion is to know who needs or wants what you have. This means your goal can not be individuals, but perhaps the large and small companies that need what you are offering.

Part-time: If you still have a job, build your new career on the side. When established, you can jump to it full time, or sell, or hold part-time. Is your business! After half time lets see if this business really is for you, test the market demand, teacher of any web based technology that you need, assist trainings and conferences to improve their knowledge base.
