i got an e-mail recently saying i won Australian lottery online i want to know how these people get our e-mail

Wel these people get our e-mail and send a form of application and tell us to keep it private as stated in there lottery law i want to knw more abt these rules is it such laws or not how these people came to know when we dont even know them

This is only a phishing mail trying to get your bank account info, so somebody can rip you off! There are scripts/progs which try every possible combination of mail addresses to find somebody they can lure into their traps…
