Have anyone came across anybody, close to them who have won the lottery?

I have a lot of friends and family members, they play the lottery every now and then. But none of us have never actually won a million dollar jackpot. Isn’t it weird that most people never came across friends or family members who have played the lottery and actually won it? Do you think the lottery was invented to entice and take peoples money? I must say i have won a couple bucks from playing the lottery and scratch-offs. But i have never came close to a mill. Winning the lottery jackpot, is it real? Is it a conspiracy? Is it planned and people are paid to act like they won the jackpot? Are they paid to keep their mouth shut? What do ya’ll think?

Dee, the lottery is real. No gimmicks at all. I have met a few winners.
