does my lottery winnings pass on to my children if I die before receiving full payment of winnings?

If I win the New York State Lottery and begin receiving installment payments allotted to me for the next twenty years — If I die… are my children allowed to continue receiving the remaining payments allotted to me?

Ask the lottery commission. I think it depends on how you set up your payment account. I believe that it would pass to your estate, which would be divided based on the stipulation in your will.
