Good question! I’ve always wondered this myself. I get the feeling she’s something of a “Crookshanks” or in other words a hybrid between a magical and non-magical animal, in this case snakes. I’ve always imagined her to look, like a viper in shape and color patterns, while being around the size of an anaconda. My guess is she’s a cross between Waglers viper and a basilisk. It never ceases to amaze me, what a powerful motivator greed for money can be for fools…I suppose if you lack the skill or brilliance to, achieve true power you would rely on money to have an influence on other as pathetic, but considerably poorer then yourself. Hence no task not matter how mindless or despicable to them is to great for the chance to earn more money. It’s obvious to me, that the money would gain me, and endless supply of snatchers who’ll comb the whole of the country searching for the boy trice as fast, as they are currently. These sorts of who I can laughingly call wizards are, expendable and loyal only to money.
