I will make the understanding about the relationship between temple and bamboo sticks. Every temple will have the main Buddha Image Statue monastery for ppl to do merit or for rites. Temple wil provide the bamboo sticks for ppl who like to gamble in lottery to shake it another way some ppl want to know their life , the bamboo stick can be forcast it. It is the belief in holy of Buddha Image Statue they visit and it depend on each person.
