Home based business owners – it's time to quit?
When I started in the home business industry, I was a young mother with a single goal: to stay home with my baby. I was horrified at the idea of someone else raising my son while I slave in a cubicle. It drove me crazy, but I do not had no choice: too many bills and the ego too.
Richard was 3 months old when I started in my new career. He will fulfill 3 years in a couple of months and yes, I have a job yet and he is still in the nursery. I know what you must be thinking: Is not this a waste of time and money, this search for financial independence?
I know … I've heard a dozen times and said to myself a thousand. But wait! There is a real logic to my madness.
At the peak of my desperation, I decided to do some research to see if I have just passed or just grown too impatient.
My dad is a man beating business in a country with very limited resources: there is little telephone service, limited postal service, the works. It started with a few dollars in their pockets, knowledge between the ears and passion in his heart. Over the years, made a name and a small small fortune for himself through hard work and intelligent.
I was really frustrated that day and started the conversation with one goal: to get an answer to justify my giving up what seemed a business without hope and doomed to failure.
From everything we talked about that day, one thing took my breath away: I asked how long it took for your business off and turn a profit. I was surprised by his response: 5 years!
It took 5 years of him working full-time work, using his free time on your business and its funding out of pocket before seeing a profit. Unlike a home business, a traditional business requires a bit of overload: the retail space (ie, hire), employees (wages), inventory (we're not talking about the paltry $ 100 auto-ship) and more. Later I learned studies showed that 5 years as the average incubation period of most businesses. So, is it reasonable to work 3 years in a home business and not see a profit? Actually my home business began to sound like a pretty good deal.
Now, I do not want to take it the wrong way, thinking that the mark 5 years her business off the ground by magic. During those years of incubation, to work on yourself all that work in your business. In other words, you need to develop their skills. Your income will continue their personal development.
For most, this is heresy, "What?" I have to spend more money? Is not my company is supposed to give me everything? I paid over $ 500 for this kit distributor! "
The misconception of marketing network (fed by mainstream advertising) that it is quick and easy money. No knowledge is required: "a dog with a note in the mouth can do." That probably explains why we have a turnover in this industry: we're selling an expensive lottery tickets to people, not a business. So after 3 months still not better off then when they started, so quit!
It is your responsibility as a leader to provide your personal success, most people are not looking for a brochure, which can handle the truth and the truth is you need to develop skills to succeed in this business and that will take time.
My brother is a medical student. He spent 9 years studying, sweating over books and cold bodies. 9 years without pay! In the when it is fully done, will be about 12 years or so.
But what is the reward? A six-figure salary. He has won? Of course! Was it worth it? I hope so.
Now, let me give you some ideas about the medical profession. Did you know that most medical graduates more than $ 200,000 in student loans? When they start to work, must pay their malpractice insurance out of pocket and depending on their specialty, that's another $ 50,000 or more a year. Do you have a practice? Slap on some additional costs: office space and equipment, staff salaries and benefits, etc, etc. Doctors make a whole lot and hopefully they find rewarding career. At what price? 12 years and a lot of student loans!
Friends, as it is, network marketing and it sounds too good to be true. No need to inflate the claims of income.
What other business or career can start with a few thousand dollars or less a work in part-time schedule, often have little or no ceiling and have a reasonable expectation to generate a six figure income between 2 and 5 years?
What other business opportunity on this planet? I have not found yet.
I do not know about you, all I know is that I'm faithful to my home business to do so. Frankly, what else do I have to pass better?

UK National Lottery – Is it Too Late ?? 29th Nov ‘08?
Just found an old ticket dated Sat 29th Nov 2008. Is there any way I can check to see if it’s a winner, and if it is can I claim? I have a feeling the time limit is months not years! Maybe 6 months?
Time limit on national lottery tickets is 18 months so I’m afraid it’s out of date and your winnings (if there were any) have gone to charity.
The winning numbers for Saturday 29th November 2008 were 10, 34, 35, 39, 43, 47 and the bonus ball was 33. The National Lottery jackpot was £7,649,917 and was scooped by one lucky player
