Is the new National Lottery (UK) advert a complete rip-off?
Everyone saw this video (http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/lights) a few years ago; some mechanic called Carson Williams with too much time that did his house up into a massive xmas lights show.
And now the new National Lottery adverts, with a near identical lights show: http://www.tellyads.com/show_movie.php?filename=TA1688&advertiser=National%20Lottery/
Does anyone know/know how I’d find out if these adverts are supported and allowed by Carson Williams and/or Trans-Siberian Orchestra (the band who did the song, which is again eerily similar)? Or have the National Lottery has just made a blatant rip-off?

Maybe…maybe not…but are they not being patronising to dears on council estates who tend to create colourful lighting to their homes.
They’re obviously making their Yuletide hints to get the naive C2DE’s to part with their doshky…and why not, as they can afford massive flat-screen tellies!
Does anybody know the name of this song???
