The number of digits and number combinations chosen for x is given by the "pick" function. xCy = x! / (Y! * (X)!) If x is 49 and 6 … and is 49C6 = 49! / (6! * 43!) = 49 * 48 * 47 * 46 * 45 * 44 / 6 * 5 * 4 * 3 * 2 * 1 = 49 * 47 * 46 * 3 * 44 = 13,983,816
