U.S. Green Card Lottery?

Anybody any experience with this system. I applied for this and sent my photo at the end of January. I received an email e of them in the February 22 saying they had received my pictures and let me know when they are uploaded to my request. It has now been two months and have not has done, continue sending me emails telling me to update my photo. When I send emails, they keep saying that it will soon. Be it is a large volume of mail, but I think two months is dragging out a little? Does anyone know if this will affect my application for this year? It is me running out of patience with them now I have'nt have the equipment to scan my photos to the application. I had no choice but to send the photo to their offices. Satisfy this option when you are applying.

Patience is something you need a package when dealing with the Department of Homeland Security. I requested a K-1 visa in December 1999. I just became a citizen in March. In general, each application was required to average took 6-8 months for a response. The "line" is practically useless as well. The terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, the reason that the INS became part of DHS, resulted in a delay of ALL cases, about 11 months. They are returning to normal but patience is something you need if you're serious about U.S. residency. That and the ability to cope with stone face, stupid people who hate their jobs and want to suffer (or so it seems). And for all that Americans by nature itself, are even worse than people at the DMV!
