how does a lottery rollover work?

I’m just curious to see if I have to buy a new ticket or if the tickets that i had bought for the certain game are still valid since it rolled over. it’s the florida lottery and it says the date and “1 draw” on it so i don’t know if i’m being an idiot but just would like to know a definite answer, can’t seem to find the rules online

A rollover is when no one wins the lottery you have bought a ticket for and the amount increases and rolls over to the next drawing. However, you have to buy a new ticket for the new lottery which has rolled over and your old ticket is void. Too bad.
