AOS( adjustment of status) versus CP( consular processing)?

I’m an international sudent(F1), and I just won the DV lottery 2010. i want to change my status before januray 2010 or before the end of the spring 2010 becuase i got accepter to U OF I (ILLINOIS) a very expensive school. i dont know which of those processes will be faster and saver for me .. please help me.
will you advice a f1 to do CP or aos if he won the lottery
