Does a person winning lottery have the right not to disclose his identity, OR does lottery org disclose it?
Hi,
I’m asking because of this:
http://www.cnn.com/2010/CRIME/01/29/florida.missing.lotto.winner/index.html?hpt=T1
people die because of media releasing their names. so if you win the lottery do you have the right to do it 100% anonymously so no one will ever know you have tons of money so can live like a real king without people bothering you?
THANKS.
i can’t say for sure, but i was actually talking about this the other day, and i am 99.9% positive that they release your name. how much you publicize yourself is up to you…honestly though, i don’t know anyone who goes looking in the paper or on the news to see if anyone they know won the lottery.
