I have a question about winning the lottery?

Everything I've seen in the lottery winners on TV, the press always ends up finding out and becomes a big problem. And usually everyone learns and in the news and stuff. But I would like, if I ever won I would keep it private, is there any way that can happen. If someone won the lottery, is there any way they can keep private without anyone or the press to know?

All states must report to the IRS. In some states (like Delaware) will not report the victory to any other person. Most states that have required Powerball Winners will be announced.
