Which jackpot would you take – genetic or financial?
Let’s say before you were born, you were given a choice – in one choice, you’d hit the proverbial genetic jackpot. You’d be born with excellent DNA and grow up healthy and beautiful to look like a living goddess or god (e.g. – Angelina Jolie if female, or David Beckham if male; or like any really good looking celebrity that you admire). The only caveat would be that you would be middle class and have to work for a living. However, you’d still enjoy all the perks of being blessed with good genetics (good status, others admire you, wide selection of sexual partners, etc.).
In the other choice, you’d hit the financial jackpot. In other words, before you were born, you would know that early on in your life (e.g. – 24 years old) you would hit the jackpot in the lottery and win $50 million dollars. In essence, you’d be set for life and never have to work for money. The only caveat is that you’d be below-average looking (but healthy).
