Westinghouse Oscillating fan

Westinghouse Fan

This is a nice two speed tabletop or wall mount fan.
It's a great fan and works perfectly.

We got it in 1998 from a thrift store in Hapeville, Georgia.
It did not work because it was mechanically frozen
and electrically because the speed resistor was burned out.

We completely disassembled it, cleaned it, lubed it, fixed the motor
coils, replaced the resistor and wires and gave it a nice powder blue
paint job. (It was originally dark metallic purple)
We also had to fabricate a new oscillating crank arm and that
finished its restoration.
