Tape Deck

This was considered top-of-the-line
audio equipment for 1960, and
one of the first stereo equipment.
We bought it in a North Georgia
flea market for about $5.00.

We have disassembled, cleaned and
lubed it. We have not done any
electrical repairs or adjustments.
It currently doesn't work so we label it a

Project.

Original Condition
Originally, the
Tape deck
must have been
stored in a very
damp location.

Everything was
molded over.
