This is a nice radio that will scan for the radio activity of
Police, fire, aircraft, federal & local governments, ham radio etc.
It will scan through up to 200 channels you pre-select
or search over the entire range up to 956Mhz

This scanner was manufactured before the FCC required
scanner makers to block out certain frequencies,
mainly for cell phone transmissions. Since it is made
before the new requirements it is able to scan the full,
unrestricted frequency range.

It works great, has a rubber antenna and leather case and
instruction book. The rechargeable batteries last a few hours.
