When we acquired this radio it had some kind of dark brown vinyl textured factory finish. The vinyl was highly scratched and damaged.
Extremely ugly.
The daito corners of the cabinet had separated and looked as if it was going to fall apart. You could hardly hear any radio broadcasts
because of a very loud hum.
History of this radio is not known. It was purchased from a North Georgia antique junk dealer.
Restoral notes:
We fixed the cabinet by gluing the separated daito corners together. After some cleaning, light sanding and a three-tone paint job it looks great. The chassis only needed light cleaning and new filter capacitors along with a new line cord.

It is among our most sensitive, best sounding receivers.
